Technical Qualifications & Experience:
* Preferably trained in an Advanced Modern Apprenticeship program
* Possess electrical/mechanical qualifications within the following range: Degree/HND/HNC/OND/ONC/BTECH or Level 3 NVQ or higher
* Proficient in 18th edition wiring regulations, City & Guilds 236/2360 parts 1, 2, and C (or similar electrical installation qualifications)
* Completed authorized or competent persons training
* Able to safely operate, make safe, and test systems or installations
* Holds IOSH or equivalent safety certification

* Collaborative team player, capable of working independently and cooperatively
* Demonstrated ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage priorities
* Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
* Take proactive steps in identifying and rectifying faulty processes through long-term solutions
* Efficient time management to maintain continuous production coverage and fulfil responsibilities
* Work independently during periods of high demand for support
* Manage and support break cover in accordance with production needs as directed
* Flexibility to accommodate holiday cover and overtime as needed for Maintenance and Production requirements
Daily Tasks:
* Ensure thorough documentation of all work through the maintenance management system (CMMS)
* Safely achieve site performance and KPIs
* Manage spares holding and procurement, integrating with PM system and CMMS
* Identify and plan maintenance and corrective actions using CMMS data
* Execute continuous improvement tasks within the area
* Provide technical support and guidance to other Technicians and Operators
* Deliver basic training on equipment function to Operators and Technicians
* Supervise Contractors on site and take responsibility for their tasks
* Familiarize oneself with Service Building and Site Maintenance, completing basic tasks as necessary
* Implement and manage work through the Permit to Work system
* Drive proactive continuous improvement initiatives within the area, collaborating with other departments
* Present ideas for enhancing production equipment and facilities
* Perform electrical and mechanical installation tasks
Shift Pattern:
Work a rotating day and night shift pattern (rotating every two weeks), totalling 39.82 hours per week
Day Shift - 6am to 6:15 pm
Night shift - 6pm to 6:15am.
Call out charges at current rates.
** £8000 shift allowance
