An opportunity for a vastly experience Tax Manager to join global leading organisation as a key member of the Finance team on a permanent basis. You wil be fundamental in ensuring timely and accurate preparation of quarterly reporting of tax calculations and risks to the group.
About the Role
Deliver quarterly tax figures for inclusion in the
Maintain the Taxrisk database and SOX controls, reporting any issues to the UKIE Head of Tax IFRS group reporting
Prepare accurate and punctual UK group tax computations for submission to HMRC, as well as local CIR return
Ensure timely and accurate delivery and submission of various returns such as Plastic Packaging Tax, Payroll Settlement Agreement, Withholding Tax (CT61), Share Scheme Reporting and Short-term Business Visitor
Prepare local statutory disclosures under IAS 12 for inclusion in audited UK statutory accounts
Initiate and process tax payments for UK
Prepare CBCR (country by country reporting) reconciliations to the Group Tax Department for applicable UK entitiesAbout You
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience
Professional qualification in Tax (ATT or CTA) or Accounting qualification
Significant post qualification in-house experience in tax
Working within a global/complex company structure
Understanding of IFRS (in particular IAS 12)
UK VAT knowledge and UK tax legislation
Excellent IT skills (VLookups, pivot
