We are currently seeking a dedicated EYFS Teacher to join a dynamic team in a welcoming school. This role offers an excellent opportunity to play a pivotal role in laying the foundation for young children's lifelong learning journey.
Responsibilities:
Plan and Deliver Engaging Lessons: Develop creative lesson plans that incorporate storytelling, interactive games, and hands-on activities to captivate young minds while fostering a love for learning
Create a Nurturing Environment: Establish a warm and welcoming classroom atmosphere where children feel safe to express themselves and explore new ideas, encouraging curiosity and building confidence
Assess Student Progress: Utilize a variety of assessment methods, such as observations, checklists, and portfolios, to track each child's development and tailor instruction accordingly, ensuring personalized learning experiences
Collaborate with Parents and Colleagues: Foster strong partnerships with parents through regular communication and involvement in school activities. Work closely with fellow educators to share ideas, resources, and best practices, promoting a supportive and collaborative learning environment
Promote Holistic Development: Encourage the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth of each child by providing opportunities for play, exploration, and discovery, nurturing their overall well-being and development
Requirements:
Possession of Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent Early Years teaching qualification, demonstrating your professional readiness to educate young children
Previous experience working with children in an Early Years setting, showcasing your practical expertise and understanding of early childhood education
Profound knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and child development principles, enabling you to design enriching learning experiences tailored to individual needs
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, essential for building positive relationships with children, colleagues, and parents, and fostering a supportive learning environment
