We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our key client in Swadlincote.
This role would suit someone with a proven background working in a Mechanical Design role in a fast-paced environment with 5 years+ experience. Any experience in Conveyors, Materials Handling, Special Purpose Machinery, Steel fabrication or similar would be preferable.
Key Responsibilities:
The Mechanical Design Engineer will be designing bespoke project designs for customers from concept to completion.
Making modifications to existing designs
Liaising with production and manufacturing to ensure designs can be created and meet project deadlinesKey Attributes:
Ideally experience designing conveyors, materials handling, mechanical handling, special purpose machinery, steel fabrication or similar would be preferable.
Autodesk Inventor experience is required to hit the ground running
Any hands on or shop floor experience earlier in the candidates career would be beneficial but not essential
