Charge Nurse

We have excellent opportunity an experienced Clinical Team Lead also known as Charge Nurse, to manage a team of registered nurses and care assistants in a neurological centre in Aberdeen. This role is a 37.5hr week with a salary range of £38247 - £43331

As the Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for:

You will have responsibility to ensure effective performance management of all clinical staff in line with company policies and procedures for recruitment, induction, development, supervision, appraisal and discipline.
To lead the nursing team in developing the quality of nursing care, acting as a source of support and advice to colleagues and relatives
To ensure that clinical care is provided in line with multi professional, evidence based care plans, is timely and appropriate and that company policies and procedures are adhered to
Take responsibility for a service user group, consulting and liaising with the multi-disciplinary team, service users, family/carers over their careBenefits

Registered Nurse or degree level qualification, possible further study.
Experience in specialist palliative or neurological care depending on service requirement. Committed to service user involvement.
Demonstrable experience of practising in a self-directed and highly motivated way
An ability to provide teaching and mentorship in a clinical setting
Able to effectively manage change and manage performance
Clinical leadership skills
