Salary: £48,000 - £58,000 depending on experience, 10% Bonus, excellent benefits package
ARCA is partnered with a rapidly scaling, world class business seeking to expand its innovative and team-orientated engineering team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing and leading the full product design process from ideation to production for an industry leading consumer product business.
You will join a fast paced mechanical NPI team to create, build and test new and innovative concepts for a variety of markets and applications.
The Senior Product Design Engineer (NPI) will develop expertise in key NPD areas and contribute across project teams whilst providing support within a skilled and agile team to deliver technical investigation, project planning, resourcing and feasibility work.
Skills/Experience:
* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Product Design, Mechanical Engineering or relevant technical degree
* Design for Plastic Injection Moulding
* CAD experience - ideally proficient in Solidworks but not limited to this
* Design for manufacture, assembly, compliance, storage and transportation, usability and servicing
* Prototyping and development testing
Desirable:
* CFD or Mechanical FEA
* Previous experience in the full design life cycle, from cradle to grave
