Job Description
Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer
Extra Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer in the Oldbury area. All candidates must have a background within the line of work and be able to work both shifts.
Key duties revolve around installation of mechanical and electrical components on machines and offices. Maintenance of machines as well as troubleshooting and repairs whenever there is a breakdown.
Experience required of a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer:
* Experience in a manufacturing environment
* Experience in managing teams.
* Proficient in the use of Microsoft packages
Duties of a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer:
* Schedule and undertake periodic maintenance on all equipment, components, and installations.
* Provide prompt response to enquiries whenever there is a breakdown and resolve the issue as quickly as possible
* Ensure that equipment is in good working order to prevent disruption of activities.
* Installation of fresh mechanical and electrical components and fittings.
* Recommend replacement for old or faulty components or fittings to the management.
* Keep record of all stock and supplies, including company’s equipment.
* Working in collaboration with the production team to formulate the best cost-effective manufacturing process.
* Fix and maintain lighting fixtures and fittings.
* Troubleshoot machine breakdowns and provide preventive maintenance services
* Provide safe working environment for members of staff, and ensure electricity induced accidents and mishaps are prevented.
Details for a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer:
Salary - £32,000 - £40,000 DOE
Hours - Rotating shifts - 6am till 2pm and 2pm till 10pm (PLEASE NOTE THESE SHIFTS WILL ROTATE WEEKLY AND YOU MUST BE ABLE TO ATTEND BOTH SHIFTS)

Attainments:
* Educated to GCSE level or equivalent with a C grade pass in Maths and English.
* Electrical Engineering Certification
* Maintenance Certification
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £32,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
