CK Group are recruiting for a Quality Supervisor for a chemicals company based in Leamington Spa, for a full time permanent role, for a competitive salary of £30,000-£32,000 per annum.
This role is shift based with 2 days, 2 nights and 4 off.
The Company:
Our client is a leading recycling specialist company offering their service to polymer industries.
Location:
The site is based in Leamington Spa and is commutable from Birmingham, and Coventry.
Your duties and responsibilities will involve:
Routine operation of analytical instruments.
Routine product testing for physical properties by MFI, IZOD and tensile testing.
Supervise QC technicians.
Contribute to lab continuous improvement activities.
Maintain and record results in line with internal quality practices and ISO17025 requirements.
Provide support as required to the operational and technical teams.
Contribute to all laboratory and site wide health and safety requirements.
Your Background:
The successful candidate will have:
Degree in Chemistry or related - desirable.
Supervisory/leadership experience.
Good knowledge of chemicals.
