With a strong reputation for delivering excellence, we are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join our dynamic team. Based in Walsall, our company offers a supportive and collaborative work environment.
Position Overview: As an Electrical Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing commercial retail and education projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Travel may be required depending on project locations. The successful candidate will have a proven background in similar roles, possess relevant electrical qualifications, and demonstrate effective project management skills. This role offers a competitive salary of up to £60,000, including a car/car allowance and a fuel card.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage electrical projects from inception to completion, ensuring all objectives are met.
* Collaborate with clients, contractors, and project stakeholders to understand and fulfill project requirements.
* Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
* Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and adherence to safety standards.
* Provide effective leadership and guidance to project teams, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
* Oversee procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring cost-effectiveness and timely delivery.
* Ensure compliance with relevant electrical codes, regulations, and industry standards.
Qualifications and Requirements:
* Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager in commercial retail and education projects.
* Electrical qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 4, C&G 18th Edition).
* Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage budgets, schedules, and resources effectively.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to travel to project sites as required.
* Valid UK driving license.
