Position: Science Teacher
Location: Harrogate
Salary: £145 - £205 per day
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Science Teacher to join our team in a SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) setting in Harrogate. The ideal candidate will have experience working with students who may have challenging behaviour and social-emotional needs.
Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging science lessons that cater to the diverse needs of our students
Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment
Utilise creative teaching strategies to motivate and inspire students
Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to support the holistic development of students
Requirements:
Qualified teacher status (QTS) in Science
Experience working in a SEMH setting or with students with challenging behaviour
Strong behaviour management skills
Ability to differentiate instruction to meet individual student needs
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
