Monday to Friday 10pm-6am
£11.90 per hour
Our client is looking for a detailed – orientated Quality Checker to join their team in a leading carpet manufacturing company dedicated to producing high-quality carpets for residential and commercial use.
The Quality Checker will be responsible for inspecting carpets at the end of the of the manufacturing process to ensure they meet quality standards and prepare for distribution. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and a passion for maintaining high levels of quality and craftsmanship.
Responsibilities:
* Conduct thorough inspections of carpets tiles.
* Identify and document defects, flaws, or irregularities in carpet tiles, such as weaving inconsistencies, colour variations, stains, or imperfections in the texture.
* Follow established quality control procedures and guidelines to ensure that all carpet tiles meet company standards and specifications.
* Monitor equipment and machinery for proper functioning, reporting any issues or malfunctions to the appropriate personnel.
Requirements:
* Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify subtle defects or irregularities in carpets.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate with cross-functional teams.
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
* Flexibility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities and deadlines
