Job Description
Drive, manage and support the forecast and financial reporting operational cadence, working cross functionally with contributors within Finance and beyond to ensure adherence to timelines and the highest standards of data quality.
Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile and identify gaps, uncover unmet business needs and work back upstream to the data and process owners to understand and address issues, where necessary.
Develop a deep understanding of the metrics that we report, the processes that drives these metrics (quote to cash/procure to pay), the data behind the metrics, how they are currently reported and how we can enhance and provide additional insights in the future.
Perform impact analysis on proposed system changes, troubleshooting/root cause analysis, engage in UAT and other data validation/data remediation efforts as needed.
Support the finance team from a current and future state reporting perspective (e.g. Excel based, dashboards, ad hoc analysis, etc.).
Become proficient in the current tech stack, while being open for opportunities to improve tools/process and enable the larger team to improve efficiency.
Embrace, adhere to and enhance existing change management processes.
Elicit requirements and translate requirements into technical specifications.
