Top Health System in Jacksonville, TX is looking for a Nursing Director of Surgical Services to be responsible for the direction and supervision of the department.
Responsibilities include:
Providing leadership and mentorship to staff to support growth and advancement.
Monitoring quality, patient satisfaction and employee morale and identifying areas for improvement.
Acting as a change agent and implementing strategies for advancement and improvement.
Directing all administrative, financial and clinical activities of the department.
Requirements
5+ years of Nursing experience, including 2-3 years in a Leadership capacity.
Bachelor's of Nursing Degree; Master's Degree preferred.
Current RN License; certification in clinical specialty or nursing administration preferred.
Excellent communication, critical thinking, judgment and decision making skills.
