Senior Accountant
HIROTEC Manufacturing America, located in Fayetteville, Tennessee, is part of the HIROTEC Group, headquartered in Hiroshima, Japan. HIROTEC Group delivers body-in-white closures, exhaust systems, flexible closure tooling, and stamping dies to automotive customers around the world. With a US headquarters in Auburn Hills, MI, HIROTEC Group operates 33 facilities in eight countries.
Currently we are seeking a Senior Accountant to become a part of the HIROTEC team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Calculating, posting, and reviewing financial data for use in maintaining accounting and statistical records, including monthly general ledger closing
Analyzes financial information detailing assets, liabilities, and capital, and assists in preparation of balance sheets, profit and loss, and other reports to summarize current and projected company financial position
Audits contracts, orders and vouchers; Assists in preparation of governmental surveys
Assists with document preparation for financial statement audit
Functions as a back-up for in-house payroll preparation
Meets with internal Project Managers to collect information for use in monthly revenue recognition and accruals
Conducts surveys of systems within operations to ascertain needs of organization
Compiles data for use in cash flow forecasting
Compiles and analyzes financial information to prepare journal entries to accounts.
Produce reports for management.
Analyze project financial information.
Maintain the general ledger numbers in Database and Solomon.
Available for Accounts Payable questions.
Assist in devising and implementing accounting control procedures.
Provide accounting support for other departments.
File government surveys.
Assist with other as needed.
Assist with the external audit, bank audit, etc.
Prepare analyses of accounts.
Prepare executive summaries.
Assist in consolidating activities.
Prepare monthly financial statements.
Other duties and projects may be assigned.
