We are looking for a creative and driven engineer with a high degree of intellectual independence, who at the same time enjoys working together with other engineers and technical staff in a team environment. A keen interest in technical innovation and practical problem solving in the context of cutting-edge scientific research is important. A major area of work will be the design, manufacture, and maintenance of research equipment. An example might be the production of an MRI compatible piano keyboard (without ferromagnetic materials), which would include CAD and PCB design, fabrication / 3D printing of components, and some programming.
