Area Manager - IVD
Territory – Asia (South East Asia)
(Indonesia, Vietnam, Malaysia, Thailand, South Korea, Japan, Bangladesh, Burma, India, Taiwan, Philippines, Singapore, Hong Kong)
Our client is looking for an Area Manager to manage the business development activities through distributors and direct sales within the human diagnostic field.
Key Responsibilities will include:
* Analysis of assigned markets in terms of suitable portfolio, opportunities etc.
* Identification & appointment of distributors
* Development of strong & effective relationships with distributors/partners/direct customers that help identify opportunities to grow the business with current and potential accounts
* Determination of pricing and other elements of business / contractual framework
* Cascading down sales and marketing plans
* Reporting of results
* Visit local markets with distributors to research and identify current trends and present competitive data as it is related to the brand to establish key objectives
* Special projects as assigned
The ideal candidate will hold a BSc or equivalent in a Life Sciences discipline with proven experience in a sales role wthin the human diagnostic field. This candidate will have worked within the territory and will be required to travel.
You must be able to speak English and one other language related to the managed territory
