Their experienced teams operate extensively, providing valuable support to growers and offering seed multiplication and production services in multiple regions, including the USA and Europe.
Opportunity:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Vegetable Seeds Salesperson to join our client’s team in the MENA region. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, building strong relationships with clients, and expanding market presence within the vegetable seeds industry. This role requires a deep understanding of agricultural practices, market dynamics, and customer needs in the MENA region.
Responsibilities:
* Develop in-depth knowledge of the company’s vegetable seed products and their applications.
* Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve sales targets and expand market share in the MENA region.
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including potential clients, partnerships, and market segments.
* Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, including farmers, distributors, and agricultural cooperatives.
* Provide technical support and product information to clients, addressing their specific needs and challenges.
* Organize and conduct product demonstrations, field trials, and training sessions for clients.
* Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials, campaigns, and events tailored to the MENA market.
* Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and other relevant events.
* Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis.
* Monitor sales performance and market trends to identify areas for improvement and growth opportunities.
* Provide feedback and recommendations to the product development team based on client needs and market demands.
Candidate Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Business, or a related field.
* Minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience in the agricultural sector, preferably in vegetable seeds.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and results-oriented approach.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
* Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic and/or French is a plus.
* Willingness to travel extensively within the MENA region.
