Calibration Inspector.

Lincolnshire (A46 / A15 area).

£22,820 - £26,013 + excellent benefits

Having been established for over a century, my client is a particularly secure company and market-leader in the manufacture of bearing technologies for a variety of industries. Whilst this organisation maintains a family feel, they also have the backing of a global group of companies. They believe the excellent reputation they have continued to maintain in the marketplace has been built on providing their clients with ‘first class’ products and the investment they make in their highly skilled workforce – who are always recognised and rewarded.

Due to further, strategic expansion, an opportunity has now arisen for a Quality Inspector to join them at their facility in Lincolnshire. Does this sound like the type of company that can offer you the secure career prospects you are seeking?

Reporting into the Head of Quality and working as part of a small, friendly team, you will take ownership of ensuring all measuring equipment is calibrated and fit for purpose, including ordering replacement equipment, where necessary.

The key responsibilities of your new role as Calibration Inspector, are as follows:

* Calibration of inspection equipment to controlled procedures.

* Requesting quotes and ordering the repair of existing inspection equipment or replacement of equipment.

* Ensuring inspection equipment is maintained and stored correctly.

* Maintaining the calibration database for traceability and auditing purposes.

* Working with other areas of the Quality department, as and when required.

* Working to controlled procedures and best practices, as well as liaising with suppliers and internal Quality personnel.

In an ideal world, my client would like to find someone with a background in mechanical engineering and a solid understanding of inspection equipment. Regardless of previous expertise, you will possess strong organisational, verbal and written skills and be a great team player.

In return, my client is offering an excellent salary of £22,820 - £26,013, dependent on experience. An excellent benefits package is also on offer which includes 25 days holiday per year (plus Bank holidays), subsidised health care, personal accident plan, long service award, bike to work scheme, death in service benefit and a matched pension of 5%.
