Build recruitment are looking for an Electrical Manager to work for a Social Housing Contractor on the Repairs and Maintenance division

This role is currently based in Basildon, East London and North London 

Electrical Managers are responsible for the day to day running of the project requirements. They are required to keep the project within the timescale and budget and manage any delays or problems encountered. Also involved in the role is the management of quality control, health & safety checks and inspections as well as compliance.

Qualifications Required:

SSSTS or SMSTS desired 
18th Edition
2391
social housing expereince 
NICEIC qualified preffered 
any other relevant quals are desired 
Minimum of 2 Years supervisory/ management experience.

Duties

Ensure the quality and compliance of the day-to-day work of the business.
Ensure all works are certificated accurately and correctly.
Provide technical support and assistance to direct engineers and contract teams.
Carry out site visits and engineer/work assessments.
Carry out physical and desktop inspections of supply chain works and certification.
Ensure any notifiable works are notified within the required timeframe.
Ensure safe working practices are adhered to.
Keep records of ongoing CPD’s for yourself and all direct labour.
Liaise with supply chain to ensure proof of competency for all engineers are held.
