Senior Design Engineer Lead

With a focus on innovation, quality, and customer satisfaction, we are seeking a talented Senior Design Engineer to lead our Design Engineering team and drive excellence in product design, development, and implementation.

**Key Responsibilities:**

Lead the design and development of our product range, ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
Manage and develop the existing team of up to 10 employees including Design Engineers, Technicians and Apprentices
Manage multiple engineering projects from concept to production, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution.
Conduct performance evaluations, tests, and quality assurance measures to validate product performance, durability, and safety.
Drive innovation initiatives, incorporating new materials, technologies, and sustainable design principles into product offerings.
Provide technical support and training guides to internal teams and external stakeholders on product specifications, installation guidelines, and troubleshooting.
Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to our industry
**Qualifications and Skills:**

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field or equivalent
Proven experience in design engineering, product development, and project management
New product development including new trends, legislation, building regulation and compliance
Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritise tasks, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with CAD software and other relevant engineering tools
