Permanent – Full Time – 37.5 hours

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Regional Procurement Manager to join our team in the East Anglia region!

As our Regional Procurement Manager, you’ll have the day-to-day direction and control of purchase/hire goods, plant, and services to ensure that business objectives around project delivery, profit, risk, and sustainability are met.

You’ll ensure the Procurement team provide timely and accurate order placing, in line with an agreed procurement programme, including obtaining design approval where necessary. You’ll provide suitable training, education and direction to the team and ensure the effective application of/adherence to agreed purchasing procedures/policies (including ISO9001 & 14001). It will be your job to provide effective market intelligence to the Regional Commercial Director, estimating function and Production teams and provide support to the region’s bid programme, including Quality Submission involvement together with enquiries/analysis/recommendations when requested to do so.

We’re looking for someone who has experience of a similar role with knowledge of conditions of contracts. Commercially aware, you’ll have strong negotiation skills and knowledge of Health & Safety as well as legislation in relation to the construction industry. Competency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook is a must, as is experience of COINS.
