Jackson Hogg is delighted to be supporting our client who are currently undergoing growth due to investment in their search for a Project Manager on a 12-18 month FTC (view to extend or go permanent).
The purpose of the Project Manager role is to lead a Project, or a number of smaller Projects, as part of a Workstream within the Transformation Programme team. The Project Manager leads & takes responsibility for the planning & delivery of each Project
Background required for the Project manager
* Project Management, with the ability to adapt to a new context quickly, and apply standard PM approaches to the Transformation Programme, build stakeholder relationships quickly and then focus on implementation
* Or, Functional management roles, with the ability to rapidly learn Project Management approaches, build stakeholder relationships quickly and then focus on implementation
* This is also a delivery role. We are specifically looking for people who can implement change. We are not looking for conceptual or theoretical thinkers – but people who will roll their sleeves up and take personal ownership to deliver
Experience required of a Project manager
* Experience of managing multiple demands and prioritising effectively in a reactive environment.
* Experience of working in an environment in which scheduling work and working to deadlines is the norm.
* Experience of liaising effectively with others inside and outside of a team and building excellent relationships.
Skills required of a Project Manager
