Position Overview:

Join a dynamic electrical engineering team as an experienced Project Manager. In this pivotal role, you'll be responsible for managing and coordinating all on-street multi-site electrical activities, which will include electrical testing, inspecting & commissioning, condition reporting, and reactive electrical repair works.

Responsibilities & Duties

You will be responsible for:

Managing a small team of highway electricians and electrical contractors.
Monitoring productivity, performance, and skills.
Ensuring work meets program requirements and deadlines.
Overseeing electrical orders and tracking performance against KPIs.
Managing on-street compliance of electrical operations.
Ensuring activities follow Safe Systems of Work (SSoW) and promote a strong health and safety culture.
Providing daily advice and support to highway electricians.
Ensuring all work complies with NICEIC & NERS accreditation.
Understanding the electrical needs of various asset types.
Conducting site visits to ensure work meets regulations and legislation.
Adjusting to accommodate ad-hoc project requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

You should have:

2+ years of project management experience.
Preferably, experience with street lighting or electrical highway work.
Strong personal management skills.
Good knowledge of:

2391-52 Level 3 Award – Electrical Inspection & Testing
Requirements for Electrical Installations (18th Edition)
G39 + 214 Safe Isolation

A valid driving license.
