My client is expanding and rapidly growing and they currently have a new oppurtunity available for a fire and security engineer based in Manchester to cover around the north west. The company prides itself in delivering excellence and ensures quality in all areas through full industry and product training to all employees.
Many of our staff have been with us in excess of ten years with several promoted to senior position.
* Roles & Responsibilities:
* As an Installation / Service Engineer it will be your responsibility to undertake service and maintenance calls as scheduled by the office and install alterations or complete systems in our customers premises.
* You will be expected to always demonstrate high levels of professionalism whilst representing the company and build working relationships with our customers / representatives on its behalf at any site where you may attend.
* To consistently work to current and latest industry standards for all relevant BS / EN Norms associated with the Security and Fire Industry.
The Company holds the highest industry accreditations such as:
* NSI Gold - BAFE SP203-1 - Construction Line - CHAS - Safe Contractor and Re-Set Scheme and is recognised by national Insurers and police forces.
* Job Title: Installation / Service Engineer (Based Greater Manchester area)
Job Type: Full Time Permanent Role with long term prospects
Pacakage Details:
* Basic: Generous package to be discussed at interview
* 20 days holiday increasing by 1 day per completed years' service up to a maximum of 25 daysplus all mandatory Bank Holidays.

* Engineers will be fully trained and supported to achieve the FESS Technician (Gold) card standard as a minimum qualification. Further progress is up to you but if you have the aptitude we will help!

Knowledge and skills requirements
* You will need to possess a sound understanding of CCTV / Intruder / Access Control and Fire systems.
* Posses a clean and current UK Driving Licence
* Posses a sound working knowledge of test and commissioning practices
* Preferably hold a current ECS Gold Card, IPAF, PASMA although not essential as training will be given
* Be available and prepared to join the current call out rota for out of hours services
