Commercial Finance Analyst | Trafford | E-Commerce | Up to £40,000

Job Overview:

Axon Moore are delighted to be partnering with a growing & highly acquisitive E-Commerce business in West Manchester who're looking for a Part-Qualified Commercial Finance Analyst to join their growing team.. You will support the FP&A Manager with the technical side of FP&A but also have the ability to work closely and commercial with senior stakeholders.

Salary: up to £40,000

Location: Trafford

Main Duties:

Provide support in the preparation of monthly Board Reports including financial and non-financial KPIs.
Produce weekly trading reports of business performance and highlight trends to Directors and key stakeholders
Daily performance reporting
Increase the automation of reports through transferring reports from Excel to Power BI
Pro-actively develop innovative reports and analyses to better challenge and support commercial decision-making in an evolving environment
Support the Finance team with preparing budgets and forecasts. Subsequently report actual performance against these forecasts.
Engage in continuous improvement of existing reports to make the processes more efficient and effective.

Person Specification:

Previous experience with visualisation/BI tools e.g. Power BI
Proficient with Excel and able to work extensively with numbers and figures
Experience in a Finance analyst or similar reporting/analytics role
Not necessarily required to hold a Finance qualification but must hold an interest in financial information and the value financial analysis brings to business performance
