Mechanical Fitter (Water Treatment)

Aqua-Tech Recruitment are currently recruiting for a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join our team in Alloa, primarily responsible for removing and installing new bridge scraper systems made of steel within waste water treatment works.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our waste water treatment facilities.

Responsibilities:

- Remove existing bridge scraper systems according to project requirements.
- Install new bridge scraper systems made of steel with precision and attention to detail.
- Conduct inspections and tests to ensure proper functionality of installed systems.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate project activities and meet deadlines.
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times to maintain a safe working environment.
- Complete required documentation and reports accurately and in a timely manner.

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter or similar role, preferably within the waste water treatment or related industry.
- Proficiency in removing and installing mechanical systems, particularly steel bridge scraper systems.
- Valid CSCS Card required.
- Possession of a valid driving license.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently when necessary.
- Flexibility to work occasional overtime or weekends as required by project schedules
