Architectural Technologist

We are currently recruiting for an Architectural Technologist to join an award-winning Architectural practice based in their Leicestershire office, situated in Hinckley. 
 
This offers an exciting opportunity to join a growing practice that specialises in Residential, Industrial, and Commercial Architecture. Priding themselves on their passion, professionalism, and process, the company are now looking to expand their workforce, with the acquisition of an Architectural Technologist to help deal with their increasing pipeline of work.  
 
Successful candidates will be joining a team of 9 other driven and motivated architects, with plans of growing the team alongside continued diversifying of their client base in the next couple of years to bring in more work. All members work on RIBA stages 0-4, and in some cases beyond this, ensuring high levels of responsibility for applicants. 
 
With projects predominantly residential based, you will cover a wide range of tasks within your role, ensuring no two days are the same! This will vary from small extensions to large residential sites and everything in between, including special care, apartment blocks, and student accommodation. To a lesser extent, the company also takes on commercial and industrial work, including interior design work, encompassing all types of architecture within the company.

This is highlighted by their support for MCIAT, with the practice recently mentoring someone through to chartership, and another staff member currently going through the process! 
 
The salary for this position ranges from £30,000-£40,000 depending on previous experience, as well as numerous additional working bonuses, such as hybrid-working considerations, private healthcare, and a discretionary Christmas bonus scheme. 
 
The Role: Architectural Technologist 
Liasing with clients and contractors 
Regular visits to sites and conducting site meetings 
Note taking of building regulations and coordination 
Formation of technical drawings from produced planning drawings 
Experience in Revit and AutoCAD
