The Role

As a Senior Site Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of our healthcare and education construction projects. Your expertise in design and build will bridge the gap between conceptual planning and physical reality, ensuring projects exceed client expectations and adhere to the highest standards of safety and quality.

Responsibilities

- Lead the on-site construction team, subcontractors, and project stakeholders to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Manage aspects of the construction process, including working with design coordination, material procurement, scheduling, cost control, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, implementing best practices and innovative solutions to enhance project efficiency and performance.
- Conduct regular site inspections and project reviews to ensure adherence to plans, specifications, building codes, and customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and client representatives to ensure projects meet functional and regulatory requirements.
- Mentor and develop your on-site team, providing guidance and promoting professional growth.
- Communicate effectively with all project stakeholders, from the construction team to healthcare administrators, maintaining transparent and constructive dialogues.
- Take proactive measures to mitigate risks, resolve issues, and accommodate changing project scopes and timelines.

Required experience
- Experience in the construction industry with at least 5 years in a site management role.
- A trade background OR a degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Demonstrable experience with Design and Build projects, and an understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities within the industry.
- A leader with a track record of managing teams to successful completion of complex projects, embodying integrity, accountability, and professionalism.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and negotiation talents, capable of building robust relationships with all levels of stakeholders.
