Supervisor - Rail

Supervisor (Rail) Yorkshire/UK
We're looking to recruit a Supervisor to work on an exciting projects based around the UK. This is a fantastic opportunity that can lead to career progression within a short period of time. This will be working on a variety of build projects in a rail environment.
Duties:
• You will be a working supervisor ensuring the teams work in a safe, profitable, planned manner to achieve the programme and deliver a quality product and service.
• The role will cover delivery of multi-discipline projects around the UK
• You will be supervising projects from start to finish and carrying out safety and quality audits
• You will be able to promote and protect the clients reputation whilst remaining customer focused and in line with Company policies and values.
• Be responsible for safety first culture onsite.
Skills:
• You will be capable of scheduling, co-ordinating and supervising the work of all site operatives and supervision of sub-contractor work packages to support the delivery of wider projects, while being commercially aware and maintaining high standards of health and safety, quality, social, environmental control.
• You will work closely with site managers, engineers and surveyors to ensure that work packages are completed in a safe manner whilst customer requirements and expectations are always maintained or exceeded.
• Highly organised, with excellent planning and time management skills
• Safety first mindset, with the ability to assess and mitigate risks including those associated with working within the railway environment
• Technically savvy, with good working knowledge of Microsoft Project
• You will need to demonstrate in past experience that you are able to supervise multi-discipline projects within a railway environment
• You will be required to travel between the sites across Southern regions, therefore a full driving is essential.
Experience within the build sector is essential (not civils/track associated)
• PTS (Minimum) / COSS (desirable)
• SSSTS (Minimum) / SMSTS (desirable)
• CSCS (Minimum))
• First Aid (Minimum)
• NVQ Level 3 /HNC (desirable)
