Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and qualified Financial Controller to join our food manufacturing clients team in Fresno, CA. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance, as well as cost accounting and food manufacturing experience. CMA certification is preferred. As the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for performing financial analyses, preparing reports, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting. You will also be responsible for analyzing and reconciling balance sheets and general ledger accounts, preparing tax returns, and contributing to the development of new or amended financial systems, programs, and procedures.
Location: Fresno, CA | Compensation Range: $165,000+ Bonus/Year | Schedule: Mon-Fri 8am-5pm | Benefits: Exceptional benefits
Responsibilities:
Providing strategic financial guidance and support to senior management
Performing advanced financial analyses and reporting
Developing financial models and projections
Analyzing and reconciling balance sheets and general ledger accounts
Preparing tax returns and other financial statements
Assisting with budgeting and forecasting
Contributing to the development of new or amended financial systems, programs, and procedures
Participating in the companys decision-making process by providing insights and recommendations based on your analysis
Managing and training junior staff as needed or assigned
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance or a related field
CMA certification preferred
Cost accounting and food manufacturing experience
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Strong organizational and stress management skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly with Excel
Ability to train and manage staff
Ability to work with little to no supervision
