About This Role
As the Associate Director of Insights & Analytics (I&A) Strategy and Communication, you will play a key role in translating data into insights and communicating them across teams. You will work closely with the I&A teams across all therapeutic areas to deliver high-quality and impactful deliverables, such as CEO, Board & LT memos, visualizations, talking points and dashboards. You will also oversee prioritizing questions from the business and identifying the best messaging for the audience by turning complex analysis into impactful business recommendations. You will leverage existing and new data to identify and quantify opportunities for innovative insights and present action-inspiring stories to clients to influence business decisions. You will report to the Head of Strategy & Operations, Business Intelligence & Operations (BI&O) and be an empowered member of the BI&O Organization.
What You'll Do
•    Manage information flow and support executive communications efforts among the matrixed and cross-functional organization, supporting therapeutic area teams to provide concise and timely updates to the CEO, North American President, North American Leadership Team, Executive Committee and Board of Directors
•    Develop data visualizations and analysis that convey complex and insightful information in an understandable and appealing manner
•    Utilize existing and new analytics tools to analyze large datasets and extract meaningful, actionable insights
•    Create compelling narratives that drive business outcomes by understanding stakeholder requirements and objectives
•    Work closely with the I&A leads and therapeutic area marketing/operations teams to develop powerful data-driven presentations that showcase brand narratives
•    Support I&A leads to benchmark and evolve capabilities across all therapeutic areas, manage capability roadmap and ensure the build of shared capabilities and tools/techniques
•    Support I&A leads to manage operational initiatives including but not limited to demand tracking, status reporting and creation of scorecard/KPIs to measure impact
•    Support training initiatives to infuse better storytelling across the entire I&A community
•    Identify opportunities to establish and continuously improve business practices and processes to maximize resources and achieve operational excellence
•    Support I&A leads with Integrated Customer Planning (ICP) and strategic budget planning process
Who You Are
You have strong leadership skills, knowledge of biopharma industry standards and practices and experience in Program Management and Business Process. You have strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, excellent communication and project management skills, and a proven track record of successfully driving results through continued partnership across the matrixed organization. You have:
•    High Analytical Horsepower / Skillset – High comfort sourcing, manipulating, analyzing and visualizing data; ability to effectively present and defend analyses. Strong ability to use data and research to diagnose issues and test hypotheses for the commercial team.
•    Project / Deliverable Management Expertise – High proficiency with gathering and synthesizing qualitative and quantitative inputs into synthesized, actionable insights
•    Advanced Strategic Thinking – Able to independently design/identify the ideal approach to answering complex business questions pulling from all available internal/external data sources; able to draft synthesized outputs and drive beyond the raw output of the analysis to actionable insights; anticipates the next question(s) from management
•    Communication – Ability to deliver information & recommendations succinctly in verbal and written communications/deliverables; able to distill complex analyses into meaningful insights and conclusions for executive audiences
•    Executive Presence – High comfort in delivering and defending analyses/ recommendations to senior management
•    High Customer-Orientation – Acts as a service partner to marketing, sales and other functional teams
•    Collaboration – Able to collaborate effectively with various functional partners to probe/ask questions, gather required information for analyses, and participate as a value-added cross-functional partner
•    Deals Well with Ambiguity / Intensity – Operates well in a fast-paced environment driven by senior leadership requests and evolving business needs
•    Independence – Able to manage workload with limited guidance; effective managing to expectations and ability to scope/prioritize work with relatively high independence
