Accounts Payable Specialist

Position Overview: 
We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to oversee our accounts payable processes efficiently and accurately. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Code and process invoices accurately and efficiently using accounting software.
Match purchase orders with invoices to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Batch invoices for payment according to established procedures.
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
Communicate effectively with vendors and internal stakeholders to address inquiries and resolve issues.
Assist with month-end closing activities and other ad-hoc projects as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
3+ years of experience in accounts payable or similar role.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
