You will be working within the Smart Infrastructure team of Siemens, where you will be part of an enthusiastic, diverse, and rapidly growing team of over 100 engineers. As Draughtsman/3D Modeler, you are primarily focused on producing 2D general layout drawings and 3D parametric model deliverables for electrical equipment and modular structures. Our projects have a specific emphasis on power distribution systems relevant to industrial applications, particularly within the data center sector. The Modular structures team is dedicated to the creation of customized Modular structures or "E-Houses" for the electrical equipment. The modular structures are designed and manufactured in many different locations with different suppliers, our team is responsible for the design inputs and decisions to ensure the end client receives a product that meets their requirements.

As draughtsman/3D modeler you are responsible for the 2D drawings and 3D models based on the project design configurations of modular structures created by the system and modular structures engineers (Mechanical & electrical). The accuracy, reliability and detailing of the deliverables during the various phases of projects are of essential importance for communication with clients and contractors.

Additionally, you will support the multiple modular structures engineers with their daily activities in the 2D and 3D aspects, managing the models and preparing the general layout drawings. The modular structures engineer integrates project input information and ensures an accurate, user friendly and optimally performing 3D model, which is stored on local cloud environments. During key phases of the projects, the draughtsman/3D modeler supports the modular structures engineer with 2D & 3D modeling tasks and the creation of documentation deliverables. Throughout the realization of these projects, the combination of our customers' high demands and short lead times adds to the challenges of our projects.

Hiring manager is looking for a Draughtsman / 3D Modeler who will fit in his team of driven and relative young engineers. The Modular structures team consists of approximately 25 engineers with different technical and cultural backgrounds. Modular structures is part of the Smart Infrastructure business unit. We are specialists in the design and delivery of custom-built energy solutions for a very demanding market both national and international.

We are growing fast and based on the order intake, we are looking for additional workforce such as a draughtsman/3D Modeler. Your main area of responsibility will be the 2D & 3D deliverables of challenging projects for energy distribution systems in the international datacenter market.

Main tasks

- 2D drawing - General arrangement drawings of custom electrical equipment and modular structures.

- 3D modeling of main electrical equipment and modular structures.

- Facilitating 2D & 3D models in multiple projects with different modular structure engineers (mechanical & electrical).

- Supporting modular structures system engineers with project specific technical and documentation related activities.

- Supporting the sales department with 2D & 3D visualizations.

- Developing, expanding and maintaining the library of content used during the projects.

- Improving work methods related to 2D drawing & 3D modeling activities.

Primary employment conditions

• A gross monthly salary of up to €4200
• A 13th month payment, pro-rated periodically
• 8.33% holiday allowance calculated on 12 monthly salaries

You will be seconded for one year via Yacht, with the possibility of being considered for a permanent position at Siemens after this year
