Employment agency Manpower is looking for a production support associate for a client in Geleen.
As a Production Support Associate, you will perform tasks within and around the cleanroom environment, focusing on process and run preparation, inventory management, and cleanroom maintenance for the production of cell and gene therapy products. The role of the Production Support Associate I is to ensure a GMP-compliant cleanroom, maintain adequate stock levels, and optimize the efficiency of manufacturing operations conducted by the Manufacturing department. You will perform the following tasks:

  • Checks inventory levels and reorders general manufacturing materials and garments
  • Performs a check of support areas on a consistent basis to ensure manufacturing department has sufficient materials and garments for use during the next manufacturing shift, ensures tidiness of support areas, materials are within expiry date and overall GMP adherence
  • Organizes material and garment inventory in such a way that items expiring first are used first
  • Empties and transfers waste to appropriate disposal area and exchanges used garments with fresh garments
  • Ensures instructional documents present in the cleanroom are current and effective
  • Participates in periodic and contingency cleaning of cleanroom areas
  • Assists with the transfer and cleaning of equipment as needed
  • Performs environmental sampling in the scope of the manufacturing department as needed
  • Transfer and storage of cryopreservation samples/products, if needed
  • Notifies supervisor of any observed deviations in a timely manner
  • Adheres to overall GMP compliance related to the support of manufacturing activities
