Building Operator

Our client, in Burlington is seeking a Building Operator to join their team. As a Building Operator, you will be supporting the Maintenance Team with daily operations.

Job Title: Building Operator

Location: Burlington, On

Pay Range: $32 an Hour

What's the Job?

• Perform inspection, maintenance, and repair of building's mechanical systems
• HVAC troubleshooting and preventative maintenance
• Plumbing fixture repairs, drain maintenance, and restroom preventative maintenance
• Troubleshoot and fix faulty electrical switches
• Access Door and Overhead Door repair/adjustment, as required
• Manage and support maintenance of elevators and fire life safety devices
• Inspect and diagnose problems and figure out best way to resolve them, frequently checking blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogue
• Other maintenance duties as needed

What's Needed?

• Positive, can-do attitude
• High School diploma or Vocational or Trade School/College
• Lift up to 50lbs
• 3 years of hands-on experience with all aspects of building/facility maintenance
• Must be available to work weekdays and weekends as needed
