What you will do
The Key Accounts Manager is a fundamental role to drive enterprise alignment and engagement across multiple functions and product lines across a multimillion-dollar portfolio of key customers. You will be based in Dubai to deliver a unique value proposition that accelerates growth, penetration, and wallet share of maintenance contracts and projects across our Building Solutions (HVAC, Controls, Fire, Security and Digital Solutions) lines of business with our most strategic customers operating within the Hospitality or Healthcare industry across the Middle East & Africa region.
This role at Johnson Controls will continually look at new ways of delivering innovation to our customers. As the Key Accounts Manager, you will play a key leadership role in the development of new growth strategies and solutions to develop sustainable long-term growth for our business.
How you will do it
As the Key Account Manager, you will develop a strategy and driving the business relationship across multiple key customers operating in the Hospitality/Healthcare sector across the Middle East & Africa to unlock and deliver revenue growth that exists within their portfolio.
Leverage the expertise and embed a culture of cross-functional teaming in the country teams across sales, account management, technology, operations, and support to execute and close the opportunities
Create and become a trusted advisor on these key customers acting as the key interface between the customer and all relevant divisions
Lead and coordinate joint planning workshops to achieve the sales targets and account goals, motivating all the JCI touchpoints to do the same
Manage key customer relationships and meet with all relevant decision-makers, holding business reviews to assess opportunities for sales and providing excellent service and support
Qualifications
What we look for
Required
Degree educated or equivalent experience
5-7 years of experience in Key Accounts Management/Business Development in the Hospitality/Healthcare sector for Building Solutions covering HVAC, Controls, Fire, Security, and Digital Solutions in the Middle East & Africa region
3 years minimum experience of managing large key strategic accounts with demonstrable capability of increasing revenue across multiple product lines/cross functions
Ability to develop & execute a rolling sales plan
Ability to present concepts and articulate business values to c-level executives and key decision-makers
Ability to lead strategic relationships to develop long term partnerships
Strong business acumen and strategic thinking
Self-starter, tireless and results-driven mentality, able to continually critique & optimize performance
Experience working in a global team environment and communicating effectively across multiple cultures
Fluent language skills English
