A local engineering company with a facility near Wixom, Michigan is currently seeking a Controls Sales Engineer for long-term, Direct Hire opportunities with their growing team. This role will have some office presence for weekly meetings and coordination, but flexibility to work remote when not visiting customers/generating business.
Requirements
Qualified Controls Sales Engineers will possess most, if not all, of the following skills and experience:
·         3+ years of recent/relevant experience in sales including cold calling/working directly with customers.
·         Controls/electrical knowledge or experience in controls programming is required.  Must have a knowledge of controls components- Allen Bradley, Siemens, control panels, hardware, or closely related.
·         Experience in automation, chemical, or robotics companies.
·         Must be able to work in the United States (no H-1 sponsorship or student visas considered).
Must be able to complete standard pre-hire checks including background, drug screen, etc.
Benefits
Controls Sales Engineers will be working full-time, with a base salary anticipated to be between $(phone number removed)/year based on each candidate's experience, as well as generous commissions with a gross pay for the first year of about $(phone number removed).
