Dew Software is seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Network Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our organization's computer networks. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high levels of network performance, security, and availability. Responsibilities
Design and implement robust and scalable network architectures.
Manage network projects from conception to completion.
Ensure the security and integrity of network infrastructure and data.
Troubleshoot complex network issues and provide timely resolutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize network performance.
Evaluate emerging network technologies and recommend solutions for improvement.
Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior network engineers.
Create and maintain accurate documentation of network configurations and standard operating procedures.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in network engineering.
Requirements
Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Network Engineer.
Strong knowledge of network protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, routing protocols, VLANs, VPNs, and DNS.
Experience with network security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and VPN gateways.
Proficiency in network monitoring and management tools, such as SolarWinds, PRTG, and Wireshark.
CCNP or CCIE certification is strongly preferred.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative team environment.
