The Contract Senior Project Manager will collaborate with the VP of Engineering responsible for interfacing with our customer, internal, and external stakeholders on assigned project. 
As the Senior Project Manager you will interact with multiple interconnected, global stakeholders through the coordination of departmental or cross-functional teams and is focused on delivery through planning and directing schedules, order/part management. team coordination and communication, and monitoring budget to ensure successful program outcomes.

AVAILABILTY - Must be willing and available to work with EU TIME ZONES for meeting attendance
DESCRIPTION
Define and manage interactions and act as liaison between key program stakeholders to include USA Firmware leadership, highly specialized engineers, our clients, third party vendors, and external partners.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify, process, and prioritize tasks and deliverables in alignment with sustaining efforts and schedules for the development project.
Maintain effective communication with the business leadership team in all activities required to design, develop, and deliver the project successfully.
Manage activities related to successful completion of various gates defined by the customer development process
Drive routine project meetings (kickoffs, weekly program, status review), manage project resources, and multiple concurrent projects to completion per chartered target dates, take meeting minutes and distribute.
Develop, track and report on project plans, detailed project schedules, critical path analysis, project and product risks, change control requests, and project deliverables to management and cross-functional teams.
Provide recommendations and contribute to cross functional meetings specifically driving improvement and efficiencies.
SKILLS
Possess excellent project management skills, including demonstrated ability to develop and manage a project with a detailed schedule, establish priorities, work to deadlines and be able to control several projects with various technologies and in various stages of development.
Ensure project milestones and deliverables are met by self and others.
Leverage strong communication skills with the ability and confidence to convey technical and business information clearly and effectively through informal and formal documents, reports, and presentations to senior management.
You bring significant technical leadership experience and an understanding of regulated change control, product development processes.
You have demonstrated expertise in hardware, firmware and/or system testing on embedded devices.
You have leveraged application tools such as MS-Project (Preferred), Git repositories, Jira etc., for bug/issue tracking and project management functions.
Experience driving product development testing to support client stage gate process
Selecting, qualifying, and relationship monitoring contract manufacturers.
Managing product qualification through North American (UL, FCC, NPFA, Safety) and EU (CE) certification testing.  
You positively motivate teams to ensure successful project completion with team building and team leadership skills.
Anticipate stakeholder needs, and develop and discuss potential solutions, even before the stakeholder realizes they are required.
Contribute technical knowledge in area of specialism.
Requirements
KEY REQUIREMENTS
 
·         10+ years of experience leading complex electronic product development projects
·         Experience managing end-to-end product deployment — from concept through development and successful launch
·         Managed product qualification through North American (UL, FCC, NPFA, Safety) and EU (CE) certification testing.
·         Excellent organization and delegation skills with ability to own the product roadmap and schedule with a track record of delivering projects on-time and within budget
·         Ability to work with limited resources, independently, tight deadlines, and with urgency
·         Attend mandatory meetings with EU Time Zone stakeholders
·         Experience navigating the complexities of cross-border and/or diverse teams and engagements.
·         Excellent interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills with ability to work in a highly cross-functional environment
