Starting pay of $15 - $20 per hour dependent upon shift and inclusive of base pay and any incentives. Please see wage details below.
Shift Details
The following shifts are available:
Day Shift: Monday- Friday, 5:45am - 2:15pm (base pay only $15 - 16 / hourly)
Evening Shift: Monday - Friday, 1:45pm - 10:15pm (base pay with a shift differential $18 - $19 / hourly)
Weekend Shift: Saturday - Sunday, 5:45am - 10:15pm (base pay with Baylor pay bonus ($18.75 - $20 / hourly)
Responsibilities
Administer and accurately record the administration of medications as prescribed by a resident's physician(s) in accordance with company policy and applicable state and federal guidelines under the supervision of a nurse
Obtain, record, and report resident vital signs
Manage the supply of medications
Provide accounting for all medications ordered, received, stored, and administered
Care for the personal needs, safety, and comfort of our residents
Assist residents with activities of daily living including wardrobe, personal hygiene, and mobility
Observe and report changes in residents' condition and status
Conduct rounds to monitor for hazards or incidents
Assist in dining including escorting residents to the dining room, serving, and clean-up
Requirements
Education:
High school graduate or equivalent
Certified Medication Aide (CMA) for the State of Oklahoma (NOT MEDICAL ASSISTANT)
Experience:
Six months of work experience in a retirement community setting is preferred
Candidate must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively with residents, families, guests, and other associates in English
The ideal candidate will be caring, organized, and able to multi-task
