Overview:
Our company seeks a full-time Senior Roadway Construction Inspector situated in Brownsville, TN. The role involves overseeing Construction Engineering Inspection (CEI) projects with the Tennessee Department of Transportation and local municipalities. 
Requirements:
4+ years of inspection roadway construction experience
Experience in transportation (bridge, roadway, rail) construction inspection.
OSHA 10-Hour Construction Safety Training,
Experience with Site Manager Software and Roadway Plans is preferred
ITS experience is preferred
Flexibility to work overtime, during limited nighttime construction, and willingness for overnight travel as necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform construction inspections for bridge, highway, and railroad projects following client's procedures.
Manage inspection services ensuring compliance with plans and specifications for all roadway, structures, and specialty items.
Document and review field measurements in project records for client or auditor review.
Daily review of traffic control measures.
Document and distribute weekly project traffic control reports.
Inspect erosion control measures daily for compliance.
Maintain an accurate daily diary including contractor information, project history, events, equipment, orders, times, etc.
Supervise field staff and resolve queries.
Train new Inspectors to meet company standards.
