Role – Farm Manager Position
Location – Winterton, Scunthorpe
Working hours – 48 hours over 6 days
Capacity of role – Permanent positions
Salary – £34,668 per annum
Our client is an established organisation and they are currently recruiting for a Farm Manager to join their busy agricultural team
Candidates will ideally need previous experience within the same sector.
Main duties will include –
• Feeding and checking on animals,
• Buying and selling animals
• Set budgets and production targets and maintain a robust paper trail of all purchasing trails for the business
• Helping to maintain farm equipment onsite
• Recruiting , training and supervise farm workers
Candidate attributes –
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to use, repair and maintaining machines and tools
• To have patience and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations
• Business management skills
• To be commercially astute and have exceptional IT skills
