Location: Farringdon (hybrid)

Role and responsibilities

Coordinate communications activity across to ensure a coherent and effective narrative to support our core aims.
Act as a brand champion to ensure our guidelines are applied consistently across the organisation, ensuring sign-off procedures are adhered to. Manage the Communications Grid, project management boards and weekly Communications Coordination meeting.
Work alongside other colleagues, deliver the activities set out in the approved Communications Grid.
Provide support to the Senior Communications Officer in the delivery of our array of communications activities, when required.
Produce press releases and other communications materials as required.
Responsibility for day-to-day management and maintenance of WordPress website, and act as the primary point of contact for website queries from staff. This includes responding promptly to change requests and new content required for upload.
With a high attention to detail, ensure the website content is proof-read and accurate, and any broken links or errors are promptly corrected.
Take a holistic view of our website to ensure it is delivering maximum value as our key communications platform. This includes being proactive about ensuring our website is updated with timely and interesting content in support of membership, events and other activities. Digital content such as images should be impactful and of high quality, aligning with brand.
Monitor and report on website analytics and traffic trends.
Quickly and efficiently resolve issues with the website, liaising with our web design or hosting companies if required.
Management of ongoing communications projects such as delivery of our new membership magazine.
Identify target markets and value proposition for upcoming activities. Produce successful narrative targeted to specific audiences, ensuring marketing material, including digital and printed content, is high quality and effective.
Employ a data driven marketing approach to improve effectiveness.
