HGV Class 2 Driver

HGV Class 2 Driver required for an ongoing placement with our well-established client in Shepton Mallett. The company in question are t he southwest's leading independent logistics company. The role is a Monday to Friday position. Typically starting between 07.00am and 08.00am.

Job role will include:

* HGV Class 2 multidrop, 8-10 drops per run

* Deliveries to companies both localised and long distance dependant on run

* 8-10 hour shifts, 40-45 hours per week

* Palletised goods, no handball required

* Ensuring goods are safely secured

* Making all deliveries with care and attention

* Completing vehicle defect and maintaining logs

* Completing delivery paperwork

The Candidate:

* A valid full category cat C Licence

* Previous experience required (1 year minimum )

* Demonstrate excellent communication skills

* Work well with others as part of a team

* Have good customer service skills and an eye for detail

* Must have a current CPC and Digi card

* No more than 6 points on your licence for insurance purposes (no DR/DD/BA offences)
