SEN support/Teaching Assistant required to work with pupils with Autism based in Diss Norfolk
Are you a passionate teaching assistant or learning support assistant who has experience of special needs in either a special school or a mainstream setting?

Strategy Education are looking for Teaching Assistants for a special needs school (SEN) based close to Diss.
This SEN school caters for pupils with Autism and is a through school for students aged between 5-19 years.
The senior leadership are very supportive and offer plenty of CPD and there is an opportunity for this role to become permanent for the right candidate
Responsibilities
* To support the class teacher either 1:1 or with very small groups
* Record keeping of pupil's progress
* Work within a multi team of professionals
* Assist with all classroom activities.
Experience and Knowledge
* Experience of working with students with special needs (SEN)
* Experience of managing behaviour in a positive way
* The ability to tailor and offer a bespoke learning programme to meet the needs of the students
* Good communication skills
* A real team player
* Reliable and resilient
