Job Profile: Export Coordinator
As an Export Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in the logistics chain by coordinating the transportation of goods for our clients efficiently and effectively. You will be responsible for managing the shipment process from origin to destination, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with all relevant regulations.
Export Coordinator Responsibilities:
Coordinating all freight arriving into the US, from China and UK.
Facilitate customs clearance processes, including filing of export documentation, duties, and taxes calculation, and coordination with customs authorities to resolve any issues or delays.
Handling any container drayage
Working alongside our UK Export team
Serve as the primary point of contact for US clients, carriers, and other stakeholders regarding shipment status, scheduling, and any issues that may arise. Provide timely updates and proactively address concerns to ensure customer satisfaction.
Stay updated on international trade regulations, import/export laws, and industry best practices to ensure compliance and mitigate risk. Advise clients on relevant regulations and requirements to facilitate smooth transportation of goods.
Negotiate rates with carriers and service providers to optimise transportation costs while maintaining service quality. Monitor expenses and provide cost analysis reports to management as needed.
Export Coordinator Requirements:
Previous experience as an Export Coordinator or similar.
Export customs knowledge.
Have previously dealt with cross trade management.
Export Coordinator Remunerations:
Salary £30,000.00 - £35,000.00
Mon-Fri 8-5
Standard Holiday allowance plus bank holidays.
