TITLE: HR Manager / Business Partner – Waste management
SALARY: £40,000 - £45,000
Core hours 9am-5pm but flexibility is required for meetings and disciplinaries.
LOCATION: You may be located in Bolton, Chorley and surrounding areas
DEVELOPMENT:
PREVIOUS JOB TITLES MAY HAVE BEEN: HR Manager, Senior HR Officer, Area HR Business Partner, HR Advisor
ROLE: HR Manager / Business Partner – Waste management
Work closely with senior management and directors to prepare and implement HR strategy
Support managers and team leaders on all recruiting matters
Advise managers and provide guidance on HR policy and procedures
Conduct grievance, disciplinary and appeal meetings
Keep up to date with UK employment legislation
Manage investigations and complex employee relations issues including redundancy and grievance
Ensure employee relation cases are managed to meet best practice requirements
Develop starter and leaver procedures
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: HR Manager / Business Partner
Ideally qualified CIPD member
At least 2 years experience as an HR generalist on both strategic and operational level
Thorough, up-to-date knowledge of employment law
Knowledge of TUPE and Union workforce
Ability to work autonomously
Experience in recruitment and interviews at a senior level
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Exceptional planning and project management skills and experience
