Interim Head of Repairs

The Interim Head of Repairs is a key leadership role responsible for managing the repairs and maintenance service in a large Not for Profit organisation based in Birmingham. The position requires proficiency in property management, strategic planning, Voids and Planned works and stakeholder engagement.

Description

Lead and manage the repairs and maintenance service for the organisation.
Manage the Voids & Planned work stream.
Develop and implement strategic plans for the property department.
Engage with stakeholders to improve service delivery.
Monitor and report on department performance metrics.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
Manage and mentor a high-performing team.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the department.
Represent the organisation at industry events and forums.Profile

A successful Interim Head of Repairs should have:

A tertiary qualification in property management or a related field or equivalent experience.
Proven leadership skills and experience managing a large team.
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Knowledge of the Not for Profit and Housing Sector.
