Thefutureworks are currently supporting Coventry University to recruit a Senior Administrator to join the team during their busy period.

This role is based in Central Coventry and will be office based 5 days per week Monday to Friday 08.30-17.00.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

1. Deal with enquiries related to the given work stream in person, by telephone or email, for both internal/external clients and/or students, providing advice and guidance where appropriate, sign-posting to Faculty staff, other team members or other suitable internal areas when necessary. This will include acting as a 'point of contact' for nominated projects/activities.

3. Undertake diary management, minuting of meetings, servicing of committees and support of Facutly Leadership Team as required.

4. Undertake a wide variety of operational administration activities in the Management Support Team and/or in respect of nominated projects.

5. Draft proposals and processes (using templates and guidelines as needed) including providing support and undertaking liaison and negotiation with internal and external clients as required/appropriate.

6. Working with colleagues to devise, implement, maintain and review agreed administrative processes, systems and management information (both manual and computerised) to ensure effective day-to-day delivery of activity.

7. Responsible for maintaining robust and auditable records for all projects and activity for which you are responsible, including an effective and efficient archive system.

8. Ensure activities with the given work stream/projects are compliant with legal and data protection requirements.

9. Co-ordinate the collation, analysis, evaluation and presentation of management information. This will include undertaking web based searches, using data extraction, Excel, Universe and other tools to produce a précis of information.

10. Represent the allocated work area by providing support and contributing as required/appropriate for work with internal and external clients, including support at meetings and with hosting visits by internal and external parties, production and provision of documentation and materials and providing required follow-up reports and actions
