Job Purpose

As a Graphic Design & Videographer you will provide outstanding design support to Cadent, working as a key part of the Regulation function under Communications, Social Impact and Sustainability. You will be responsible for delivering creative work that exceeds expectations, with expertise, precision and within agreed timescales, whilst contributing to a customer-focused approach.

Key Responsibilities

You will be a brand guardian, working with stakeholders to deliver complex messages within creative and engaging content (e.g. print, video, digital). You will also take a lead on the management of a full range of design projects from across the business, including any relevant external creative support and agencies.

·       Update the website with new content, campaign activity and publish to social media channels.

·       Explore new ways to enhance our design offering for the business and keep up to date with current trends.

·       Understand the importance of brand strategy and use of guidelines to protect the brand and reputation.

·       Data management and GDPR compliance.

·       To be the lead for corporate imagery and support internal libraries, image ownership and licenses.

·       Support in upskilling and training the wider communications team on best practice and supply guidance materials as needed.

Skills and Experience

·       Educated to degree level or equivalent, with demonstrable success across multiple B2C and B2B brands.

·       Creative design experience, featuring both in-house and agency credentials looking for the next step coming inhouse.

·       Excellent stakeholder, project and agency management experience.

·       Systems – creative software such as Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Premier Pro, Canva, Website CMS, all office packages, particularly PowerPoint and social media channels.

·       Knowledge of paid channels such as Facebook and Google to advise on what works best from a design perspective e.g. developing paid adverts.

·       Ability to understand and interpret business priorities / strategy and purpose into creative design in the most appropriate medium
